Write for Fire Sprinklers
We commission and accept original long-form pieces that help an Australian building owner, designer or facility manager make a better decision about sprinklers. If you install, design, inspect or regulate these systems, the desk wants the version you wish clients would read before the first site meeting.
What we publish
Pieces must sit in one of the five hubs: standards and compliance, installation and design, maintenance, homes and apartments, or commercial and industrial. They must be written in Australian English, cite the relevant NCC clause or Australian Standard by number, and add something a search result does not already say.
House rules
- Original work only. No spun manufacturer copy and no scraped overseas NFPA explainers with the names swapped.
- Minimum 1,000 words. Prefer a single argument with headings that match how people search.
- Declare conflicts: if you sell the product or service you are describing, say so in the byline pitch.
- Outbound promotional links are optional, rare, and published with rel="sponsored".
- We edit for accuracy and house style. We may decline a link or a paragraph that overclaims.
- Do not send attachments that contain personal information about clients.
How to pitch
Send a headline, the hub, a 150-word argument and the Australian sources you will use. Do not send a finished draft until the desk agrees the angle is free. If you would rather ask a general question first, use the contact page.
- Do you accept paid or guest posts?
- Yes, if the piece is original, useful to an Australian reader and written to our length and source standard. Any promotional or guest-post link is published with rel="sponsored".
- How long should a guest article be?
- At least 1,000 words, usually 1,400 to 2,000. Listicles and rewritten manufacturer pages are declined.
- Can I include a link to my company?
- One relevant contextual link may be considered after acceptance. It will carry rel="sponsored". We do not sell sitewide or footer links.
